Volunteer - Volunteer Rewards

The rewards of volunteering are intangible.  Volunteer driver/companions frequently form relationships with clients.  They know that they are contributing to the well-being of other people.

Staff acknowledges volunteers by sending them copies of client's evaluation forms or letters in which they are mentioned.  most volunteers are modest and humble about their work.  We hold volunteer recognition events, which are enjoyable and give volunteers an opportunity to get to know each other.  However, most people volunteer for private and personal reasons, not to receive public recognition.
