Clients - Profiles
Many of I CARE's clients are low income and many are disabled. Most are in their 70's. Some live alone, others with family, and some in group homes. The following will give you a better idea of what our clients are like:

Male, 77, living in Decatur, is married, uses a walker, and his son accompanies him on trips to the doctor.
- Female, 70, lives in high rise, uses a walker, and needs help going to the cardiologist close to Piedmont Hospital
- Female, 79, lives in northern DeKalb County, and needs visits to Wesley Woods in the Emery Hospital complex.
- Female, 74, can walk but also uses a collapsible wheel chair, and needs weekly trips for dialysis.
- Male, 73, ca walk but may use a collapsible wheelchair, needs chemotherapy on one day and to be taken home the next day.
- Female, 63, lives in Stone Mountain, has emphysema and uses an oxygen tank. She needs weekly rides to Grady Hospital.
- Female, 77, lives in Decatur area, and is legally blind. She lives alone and needs rides to an eye clinic on occasions.
